Description
Offered here is an early Fostoria creamer.
The Heavy Jewel pattern (#1225) was
manufactured by Fostoria between 1903 and 1908.
It was an extended tableware pattern line and is very difficult to find
today.
This creamer measures about 4 ½”
at the highest point, 5 ½” across from handle to the tip of the spout, and has
a 2 ½” base.
It is in great vintage
condition with some expected wear on the base and only a very small chip in the
rim of the base.
There are some typical
manufacturing flaws including some heat cracks in the handle (please view the
pictures).
This is a great opportunity
to obtain a rare and early Fostoria piece.
